Sky password?

Just phoned sky to tell them I'm moving house and they asked me for a password.

Now, for the life of me I cant ever remember having a password for Sky. In fact, the last time I phoned sky to check what to do when moving house (a couple of months ago when we were still viewing houses) they never asked me for a password. They dont even have a reminder question !!!!!!.

What gives with this password business?

I've decided to go with Virgin anyway but is this going to mean more hassle trying to cancel Sky?

Is it not usually your mothers maiden name.

I know that is what my password is.

If the account is in your name, then just call up and say you can't remember. There are other security questions they can ask instead of the password, and they can also reset it for you incase you need to call back in future.

If it isn't in your name, then get the account holder to call up and they will sort it out with them
