Think carefully before you go too far from a worktop height, because you want to still be able to use it safely and easily. I think I'd be more inclined to go lower than a worktop rather than higher, because i'd want to be able to check on progress of something, give it a stir etc and I'd find that harder to do high up. Also, if you're taking a bowl of hot soup or similar out, I think you're at a safer with your wrists to bring that up to worktop level, rather than down from a height.0
