We're both foreign, from different places! I met him when I was the foreign one (American) and he was the local (in Israel), now we're both foreigners on this lovely green island! I imagine we'll be foreigners someplace else in a few years as well.Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000

I'm originally from SE England...married a Scouser....to hear some of my mates you'd have thought he was from another planet. Mind you maybe I should've listened to them - now divorced from him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

I'm the foreign one here! I'm an Aussie, though I've always had duel nationality, so I'm not technically 'foreign'

My husband is Japanese, I am Scottish.
I worked in Japan for 5 years and met him there. We are currently living in Scotland but are moving to Spain next month."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -

England is lovely, I do enjoy it here. I have to say it's not the same since the lib-dem take over so we are preparing to move to the USA. But I've had some amazing experiences here and I'm so glad I moved here.0 -

It is a nice country (if I do say so myself:P). My fianc!e loves the greenery and chicken tikka masala (her liking of Indian food is akin to mine...quite amazing really). Plus she used to have a really American English accent when I met her, but now it's turned completely Brit (no offence, but I prefer it now:))0 -

We've never been there but have heard good reports."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0
