iPhone and connecting to BT broadband..

Having a nightmare connecting to home broadband since updating my iPhone last night to version 4.0.

The only thing left is what I've found on 02's website;

All my settings are correct but my iPhone still won't work with my home Wi-Fi connection.

For some home Wi-Fi connections it may be necessary to add the DNS addresses of your Internet Service Provider to the iPhone.

Firstly you need to find out what the DNS addresses of your ISP/broadband provider are. You may need to access the settings in your Wi-Fi router or contact your ISP to find these.

Once you have the DNS settings of your ISP, on the iPhone go to Settings > General > Network > Wi-Fi.

Select the blue arrow next to the network you are connected to. Select DNS. How do I get my DNS settings?

I have an iPhone 3G, on PAYE, trying to connect to BT Broadband.

Any help would be great, it was fine yesterday and now it just won't work

The DNS server address on BT Broadband is the same as the gateway address i.e 192.168.1.254

My DNS and IP address are different. Try logging in to your router to see if yours is the same. Type your IP address (192.168.1.254) into the internet explorer address bar. The log in name and password should be on the sticker on the back of the hub, unless you changed it. If there's no user name, try "admin".

Don't change any of the settings, but look for a summary page and the "Domain Name Server". It should be a string of numbers similar to the IP address.
