I do not know much about these - I know some companies have got bad press in the past, however for information See Tickets have a 'pre-sale' for this year:

You will need a priority booking code which is here:

Quotes from last year state (apparently)

Is this a different company to "Lapland UK"?

Or have they relaunched themselves as "LaplandUK"?0 -

Same company, looks like went into administration, they have now been re-financed. As SEE are handling booking recommendation is to take out their insurance (or I guess book on a credit card).

I am sure they did a BOGOF last year nearer to Christmas.0

They definitely did do bogof last year as I bought tickets. The offer was only on for a few weeks and it ended around the 10th December. The tickets were around £75 each last year so it cost £150 for a family of four - expensive, but a great experience.
One of the security guards told us the tickets were on offer because there had been loads of snow in Kent and it had affected attendance...I also think it was because the tickets were so expensive.0 -
they've reduced their prices this year and you don't get a meal included in the ticket price now, which was a good move. We went in 2008, travelled from north yorkshire and it was one of the best family days out we've ever had.0

Went last year as part of the BOGOF offer they did back then, couldn't have afforded it otherwise. Thought it was on balance a very good day.
The whole Father Christmas experience was very well done and the ice skating was really good. The Sami story-telling on the way out was an unexpected nice touch too. Fortunately only live a 15 minute drive away from the place so the travelling wasn't a problem - not sure I'd have driven half way across the country to get to it though.
On the negative side felt a bit on a conveyor belt through the 'toy factory' and the decorate a gingerbread man bit. You certainly weren't free to wander until after the food. The 'free' food while very good quality, was clearly a child sized portion and not enough for hungry adults. Clearly a good move to charge for food this year.
Would I go again? Maybe, but it would be £200+ to take everyone again and the novelty will have gone, so I feel that the money would be better spent elsewhere.Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.0 -
Hi there
Just wondering if anyone knows of a great deal to take kids to real Lapland abroad at Christmas??
Would be ever so grateful if anyone knows of this - am now a single parent and has been a long unfulfilled dream to take the children away for Christmas for this, but have no idea where to start, or how to afford it!.....so if anyone has any good deals they know of would be so helpful :A
:T Thanks so much for any help....sorry it's slightly off topic
And thanks to OP for their post!!!:)0
