I have mentioned my photographer in a different thread but I'd like to recommend her here too...

Excellent service and photos. Really friendly and great value.

She is willing to travel too.

I think what Lavendyr was trying to say is she would rather compromise on the products received and get good quality photo's taken.

Maybe that's what she should have said then ;)

That's kind of the thing I meant though I waffled around the point a bit! I guess I meant that it is worth getting a really good photographer, who you feel relaxed around, probably more so than paying less overall and getting more things in the 'package' like albums, duration etc. :) Quality over quantity and all that.

Sorry, I tried to clarify in the above post. Clearly didn't clarify enough though! Shouldn't post after a glass of Aspall ;)

Appreciate that some people have a low budget in which case fair enough, but I assumed that if the OP was looking at a photographer at £900 and budgeting £500-600, they weren't planning to spend £1k on the whole wedding :o

My point was meant to be that if they want to spend £500-600, it could be best spent on a photographer that they feel comfortable with and whose images are good quality and only getting, say, the images on DVD, or having less coverage during the day, rather than going for a photographer whose style they don't like as much but who will do everything for that price. Hope that's clearer!

    Well an update for you-
Met with someone last night, and I felt she was absolutely want I wanted. You know when they just feel right?
I seemed to gell with her really well and she seemed so friendly. The whole thing just seemed perfect and I know that she will be great to work with
So I am going to book her when I come back from holiday

I mentioned before that I have been emailing a women- so what do I say to her now? Do I just say that I have found someone?

    Thanks all
