Heard it from a good source (Two separate members of staff) so should be reliable.
Anyone else going to be doing the midnight online dance?

After my experiences the last time, NO.
I'll go down to the shop as there they won't remove my purchases one by one from the basket till nothing is left.
IMO, the on-line 'shop' is woefully inadequate. Instore, you get trampled [STRIKE]a bit[/STRIKE] a lot but at least you come away with your choices!I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

so does that mean midnight on Wednesday?
I'll be checking my basket every evening from Tuesday, but Wednesday/Thursday sounds likely...0 -

So, does this mean you add stuff to your basket beforehand and it then gets updated automatically with the sale price on Thurs (if the items are in the sale). ???
If I understand this correctly, it sounds like a great idea.:T

In principal, it is a good idea. Unfortunately the M&S system isn't LIVE, so you could easily put something in your basket, pay for it and it not turn up. There's also been instances of mystery items arriving.
That said, there are many of us who have bagged absolute bargains. I've personally found that the key is to put your items in the basket before the online sale officially starts - usually around midnight on Wed/Thurs, it automatically changes the prices and deletes the stuff that's gone out of stock at that time and go for it straight away. I've also found it works best for the more expensive items - you also make the most savings that way.
Anyway, we'll see how it goes...........0 -

We were told by staff at Pudsey that the sale starts Thursday 22nd. Obviously right.0 -
Don't know whether to spend all the time and hassle, only to have every last thing cancelled with no apology.... lost 38 items last time !!
Their customer service sucks if you try and complain0 -
Does anyone know what time they open on Sale Day?0

Oh fun and games again.....yehaaaaaaaa oh, and getting charged lots of times for postage for a 99p item as it was the only item in stock - even though said other oos items were available the next day and the next week for that matter....

A couple of years ago I went to M&S wed night and was able to pick up some early bargains with sale tickets attached! Does anyone think this will be he case tonight, maybe an insider can answer this one?
