M&S sale starts this Thursday

I've had my eye on a top for a while, but wouldn't pay the full price for it (over £30), hopefully this will be reduced and available in my size at half-price (or less).

It has been mentioned in the past to use the Next Day delivery as your order will get processed quicker. If we were to order the same item but I ordered after you but opted for next day delivery then my order would get processed first. If there was only 1 in stock then I'd get it

Of course, the cost of doing this is possibly only worth it on large orders.

I'm hoping the sale listing is available before all the prices change (like it usually is) so I can see whether there's anything I want badly enough to wait up for!

Hi NBirdy where do you view the sale listings? How does this work? Is it like a preview screen before they add it to the sales? Thanks

My cousin works for M&S at their head office. She always lets me know about any sale dates.

She confirmed to me that they have heard NOTHING about this supposed "sale" but is glad that the free publicity has boosted online sales by around 3000% - LOL.

She also expressed her thanks to Martin for publicising M&S website for free!!

My MIL who works for Marks told me last week that the sale was starting this Thursday but the OP beat me to posting, so does sound like its tomorrow as a few people have said so.

Hi - I spent about £130 in M&S on Monday and still have all the tags etc on the items and full receipt. Would it be possible if they have a sale to return all the items for the full price and then ask customer services if I can buy the items I am returning???

I don't think you can usually do that - but nothing to stop you buying the same items in the sale - perhaps online, for store delivery, then you could return your full price ones at the same time as picking up your sale ones!
