Hi NBirdy where do you view the sale listings? How does this work? Is it like a preview screen before they add it to the sales? Thanks :)

I think you put 'marks' in the search box on the M+S site, then select Sale from the left hand side of the screen? But there isn't a Sale section there at the moment!

It's not an official preview, just a way people have found in the past that lets you see what will be in the sale in advance. Remember though that for some things, only certain colours are in the sale, and you can't see which ones it will be in advance!
  • Jazzycat your best option is to go and buy the items in sale then return any of the full price ones that you got on sale. I used to work at M&S Customer Services and the policy is that customers can NOT re-buy items that have been reduced.

I was in my local store yesterday collecting orders and said that I'd be back on Thursday when the sale started and the asistant confirmed it to me.
  • They may do. I saw someone do that at Next at the new year sale and the cashier said she had done it aswell. M&S may have different policy

M&S won't do it - as previous posters have also said.

Any idea if this will include large items? I'm looking for a corner sofa.

This is definitely on tomorrow - an advert aired in the last hour on my local radio station.

Many thanks, you would have thought M&S would have had the decency to alert their office staff. :D :rotfl:
