For what it's worth, my Core i7 920 with 6GB RAM gets this. I built it 11 months ago for about £800:
Processor: 7.4
Memory: 7.6
Graphics: 6.9
Gaming graphics: 6.9
Hard disk: 5.9Which Windows rounds to (calls) 5.9 the same as mine,... Which as Richie points out, is why it's virually worthless, because you will almost certainly be always constrained by your HD, until you go SSD.
It depends what you're doing with your PC. If you're transcoding massive video files, then the hard drive will probably be a bottle-neck. If you're doing something very processor-intensive and the data can be held in memory, then the hard drive performance is much less relevant.
Or, to put it another way: the hard drive speed doesn't slow your CPU down even if a slow hard drive will have some effect on overall performance.0 -
In order.

yeah that is kinda odd, is it sensitive to which version of the driver you're on? -I make a point generally of not updating things like graphics drivers / motherbooard BIOS etc unless its actually causing me a problem so i'm likely a little dated there...0 -
