Morning all
Hope everyone is well.
Sorry not to have been on the last couple of weeks but life has been manic. I've only just managed to get some sleep in.
We have four chickens now, three named after Hugh Hefner's bimbos: Holly, Kendra and Bridget and the fourth named after his first wife, Mildred. They are growing fast and well and are now in a bigger pen on the kitchen table (an old, large metal basket thing that's been lurking in the garden for years - no idea what it is or what it was used for!) lined with plastic sheeting to stop the cats reaching in.
I think I reported in on the barbecue - after that, it was all hands on deck for the summer fair thing. Plus some more field interviewing came up so I agreed to take that on. The interviews that were supposed to take 67 minutes on average are turning out to be 80-120 minutes  so it's been a case of get in from work, go out and then not get back until 9.30-10pm.
The summer fair went very well in the end though it was very hard work trying to get everything organised in time. The day was very warm so I actually wore a long flowing skirt.... the parks chap who dropped the gazebos off said he didn't recognise me at first!
Then last week I went full time at work in a different department (still a temp though), that coupled with evening interviews, my birthday when the kids took me out to dinner and general reporting back after the fair took just about every spare moment.
I have booked this week off work with the express purpose of sorting out my home which has suffered dreadfully over the last month and looks like a bombsite and trying to get as much interviewing done as I can to avoid more long and late evenings!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Kitchen/Dining room. Ha, now the dining room is DS's bedroom, so apart from finding the table underneath everything, as its been the hotspot for a while, the rest can be his job! he he.
One way of getting me started easily.!
