Finally tackled the ironing after weeks of putting it off, and have found clothes I'd almost forgotten about :p in fact, I'm pretty sure that some of them were last worn on my trip to Geneva... which was in May :oI promise not to leave it so long in future

So I'm going to iron a few more bits, switch the DW off, check the WM (currently on a cleaning cycle with all my cleaning cloths in it) and then go to bed. Apparently I'm supposed to be going for a run at 6.15 tomorrow morning, so I'll have to try to locate all my running stuff and be very organised - 5 minutes to get up, 5 to get dressed and 5 to get to the meeting point...

    No Valli yet?? ;):p:D

Toots - good luck for this week. Hope they're nice to you and you don't get too bored without us to keep you busy...

  • Just logged on to OU website to check something (yes, it is silly o'clock, but I'm all over the place from my late nights).

I have apparently got myself a Diploma of Higher Education!

    and my reaction?

    'Oh, goodness me'.

What a bleedin' useless, limp, lilylivered reaction that was.

    Goodness Blimmin' Me?

[forehead slap. What was I thinking of?]

So Promptly pre registered for the level 3 courses necessary to get the BSc as well. A slight deviation to pollution control (sizeable unit on sound), with a module in electromagnetism and one in technologies for digital media for this coming year, then one on wave diffusion and possibly one of composition and performance the next (depending on whether I can get the two Distinctions required to be awarded a First).

So I have effectively decluttered the excessive spare time I would have had next Spring/Summer, whilst still leaving a nice big gap between mid September and February for everything else I get up to.

Oh dear, I need to do DD's packed lunch. So much for time management.

Morning campers, ugh what day is it, heck what time is it..lol. DH had to get an early train, instead of his coach, to see a client in Sheffield today so in his infinite wisdom he decided I should set my mobile phone alarm for 4am..ugh. Is that even a time allowed in the mornings..lol. So obviously DDJet then decided I had to get up as well. So I have waved DH off, put a load of washing on, washed up and now I am on here, obviously... MG_138.gif

Firstly thank you to the "Flylady Command Centre" for the thread and for keeping a beady eye on us all.

Not sure what I am going to be doing today as I have to be out of the house at about 9.30am, to get to my friend Tracys, as I have a second assessment appointment at the hospital early this morning. And I have been ordered to be at Tracys place for a cup of tea before hand, as she is coming with me this time. Bless her she really is an

Olliecat is wandering around the garden surveying his terroritory of the flower beds etc. He is now sitting looking at the bird feeder in the hope that the birds are daft enough to come down and feed while he is there..well a cat can dream I suppose..lol

I think I scared the dove off the feeder earlier as I opened the kitchen window and there was all this commotion outside and the next thing I knew was a dove making a horrible noise and glaring at me in mid flight..lol. Never mind he will be back soon, well when Olliecat has come in..

Ok Olliecat is now in and munching away on his munchies - he has to have a cupful of cat biscuits everytime he comes in from the garden. And if you don't get them down quick enough he sits there with this most indignant look on his face - spoilt moggie :rotfl:

Amycat and the two dogs are snoozing away in their prospective sleeping beds, I expect Olliecat will be going to his bed once he has pigged himself on his munchies..lol. Oh to be an animal in this house, they are well and truly pampered. :)

Not sure whether I should do some ironing while it is relatively cool at the moment or go and have a shower instead as I am awake. Hmm think I might do the ironing, they are forecasting temps of 28 degs here in Kent today..ugh I hate the heat why can't it be a nice 20 degs instead.. Hmmm what happened to our lovely cool summers of old?
