I'm babysitting for a friend, so we didn't make it to the pub, obviously.

It's returning the favour really as she'll be looking out to DD2 whilst I'm at work.

Managed to clean the kitchen up, put stuff away and wiped down surfaces and do a bit of rearranging before I came here.

Its been quite a productive day, I just hope the horrible slimey things don't munch my new plants.

DS1 was late coming back, so I didn't make it to the pub. Words will be had tomorrow, as he didn't even apologise. I'm decluttering the sky+ box a bit instead, while I'm deciding whether it's worth waiting up for DH. Maybe not, as I'm struggling to stay awake.
    Good night, everyone. x

    Evening all

Soappie good to see you and glad you're enjoying the chicks (I'm scared of chickens - did see a woodpecker in the oak tree on hols and loads and loads of hawks)

Vanilla - glad things are looking up for your sis. Mum used to put a beach towel (a dark one) up at the windows when we were kids. Hope the farming goes ok.

Hex and serena hi to you both and to Polly and Poohbear too

Lamewolf you care and that's what counts in my book x

    onestep - big hugs sweetheart

    Fedup - congratulations

Valli looking forward to seeing kitten pictures

Shattered Sarah and JennyJewel good to see you both (and you too Rose)

Toots - are you home yet? Hope all went well

PenPen and AnW'sMum hope you both have good hols.

Lil_me hope the boys had a great day

Sorry if I've missed anyone but I read the thread at pace.

House is all tidy (cause we've not been here), wash 1 about to be put on the line and wash 2 to be set.

I agree - I was very pleased to find you had made your way over here, LW when the other boards got a bit hijacked by the 'everyone's a scam merchant' brigade. Don't stop posting, or I'll be back up to concrete cow land looking for the local moots!

I've never let my complete ignorance get in the way of having an opinion of stuff, so you are quite within your rights to express your opinion as much as anyone else!

(In any case, even if it were wittering, it would be wittering that brightens up the day!)

Apologies if this doesn't read well, it isnt a criticism of anyone - I don't have Soappie or JoJos way with words and I am prone to bluntness so I apologise if I am offending anyone.

MY way with words?   :D:D:D

Oh dear. I put the blind down most of the way over the door, as I was eaten half alive by a mozzie last night. The cat has decided it's different and scary, so is refusing to walk under it. So The Bloke is currently crawling in and out for his cigarette breaks so that a) the cat can see him and realise it's safe and b) because he's convinced that if he touches the blind it will jump off its fixings and attack him. He may have a point with the second reason, but the cat is currently staring at The Bloke as if he is crawling out from under the nearest stone.

Mine are about 24 weeks old and kind of go 'baurp, baaaaurp'...kind of like that, they only cluck when they lay or are very startled or sounding a warning. :D

    Morning All

I got up at 4.30 as I was coughing - I do it everytime - as soon as school finishes I get cough, cold or something similar!

Haven't done much so far though apart from unload and reload the WM.

    Soappie - love the chicks

Kaz - glad yesterday went well.

I've decided that now I'm off for 6 weeks that if I do a bit every day - even if I don't finish the lists - by the time I go back to work I should be able to keep on top of it. I need to do some decluttering though as well.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs
