Day 4 of flying and my kitchen is still sparkly and (this bit I'm v pleased with...) OH is making me a hot chocolate with steamed milk using his clever coffee machine. He seems to like the shiny kitchen and the impact it's having on the rest of the house so much he's started joining in the chores. So yes, I'm still liking the shiny kitchen.

Have read through the posts and am sending much love to Onestep and hoping Pigpen is doing okay.

Mummyslittleboy I'm so pleased you've now got some sort of answer... Finally!

Well I really haven't done much housework at all today because I have been soooo busy running around but I am very pleased because I have sorted out some very important financial issues so have de-cluttered my head and feel much more relaxed
Looking forward to tomorrow - going wedding shoe shopping with my sister and two of my 'ickle bridesmaids We are of course going to make it girly and have a lovely lunch out - woop woop (Can you tell that I don't get out much,lol)!
Oh I feel so warm and fuzzy coming on here
Well I'm off now to have a look at what level one is for Friday so that I can at least do that when I get back tomorrow I'm also going to eat my very late tea

early check in for me as per at the beginning of the HOLIDAYS as, of course, I can't get used to the lie in. So am being:money: and the washer is on a seond run because I'm on Economy7...

Friday ~ those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
Level One
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
Make an appointment for some ME-time.. hairdressers? manicure? night out with friends? .. whatever just do it!
Level Two
Vacuum the floor
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!!
Level Three
Clean 2 windows
Make a start on sorting out the school stuff to out away/get rid of
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
Extras

1. 15 minutes in the garden.. preparation for autumn, weeding or just enjoying!
2. Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
3. HHI
4. Friday fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!

Pen pen have a lovely time.

Those 'buying' via quidco, it seems they are having problems paying out, something to do with the people who hold the merchants payments. ie there seems there is no money there, but quidco are trying to sort something out. So don't rely on getting this moeny as it may not happen.
There is a thread on here somewhere about it.

As you know we do our best to help you earn as much cashback as you can. The cashback you make is passed to us from the merchant you purchased from via an affiliate network provider, we then pass 100% of this on to you. It is therefore with great regret that I have to advise you the Deal Group Media UK Ltd affiliate network (DGM) has ceased trading with immediate effect and all payments made to the network by the retailer will now become a debt to the retailer.

What does this mean for me?
As you have recently purchased from one or more of the merchants below we will not be able to pass on the cashback as we ourselves have not received, nor are we likely to receive payment from the DGM network.

Were shocked and disappointed that this has happened to a network. We have only found this news out today and will do all we can to reclaim your cashback, unfortunately on this occasion we dont think well have much joy.

We are now working with the appointed administrators of the network to see what monies may be forthcoming and will keep you informed.

We never like to hide behind terms and conditions but in circumstances like this, we do have to quote from our account holder agreement as follows:

The Quidco Service allows Account Holders to earn referral fees cashback on tracked purchases from Retailers. reading the other thread it's difficult to tell! They could be the good old Braxton Hicks practise contractions....

am in deep do do this morning - woke up at 7.30 - DS has to be at work for 7.45 - I am not popular!

last day at work for nearly 6 weeks - I love today - it's the day we spend lunch time signing the leavers shirts..and wondering where the last 7 years have gone!
