Aunty the flooding looked bad - not near me though - only got a sandwich when I came back - my food has been even more restricted for the next 48 hours so will be chewing my arms off soon:rotfl:
G&B well done with the flinging - it will be less places for the puddy to hide as well - or are you nesting too:rotfl:

have a great weekend FFP - where to this time???

pooh take it easy for a day or too - dont want you laid up again xx

mummyslittleboy I would write to your Councillor - that is a ridiculous situation - or do you have a social worker - I have had good results when I contact the Councillor - they seem to know whose buttons to press!! keep shouting honey!!

my scan went ok except that at the end I couldnt breathe as they left me lying flat toooooooooo long so I had to get oxygen - and they used contrast dye and another fluid so I have to stay off my diabetes medication as the 2 react and damage your kidneys so I have to have a very restricted diet for the next 2 days to keep my blood sugars in line!!!! oh deep joy!!!!

hope to get the results tomorrow so fingers crossed they find something and that they can fix it - if they find nothing we are back to square one.

DS's facebook status has now changed back to in a relationship - the girl he 'dumped' a few days back for entirely tenuous (IMHO) reasons is upstairs with him now.

I have been to my sisters and have reutrned with possible new curtains for the room I am planning on redecorating this summer - so now I'll have to LOL

Flying - I ironed BILS shirts - oh and my sis 'came out' to me today

    she matches pegs...

mummyslittleboy, i'd go see your local MP and get him/her on the ball. This is really silly of the council. Ya would think they would be glad.

Have Squeak by the weekend so everyone can stop worrying and I will start doing my lists again look after yourself xx (love your reasoning to stop KH – can someone pm me what that stands for guessing its not complimentary lol)

OMG:eek::eek::eek: no idea you had 8 little ones already I am so envious – I always wanted four and got none (made up for this in my job lol)

Mummyslittleboy – sounds typical of a council – bunch of numpties springs to mind. As toots says write to your councillor if no luck there try your MP and as a last resort the local paper that should work

dot to dotted in the dining room of doom today - it looks much better!

it would look even better had I not sat down for a minute and drifted off to sleep - I will confess to having an Inspector Morse DVD on the computer...I maintain that the music lulled me to sleep...serves me right for having a late night midweek - Inception was one cracking film though...

    Evening all.

Piggers - I'm not saying a word. Instead, I'm sending you a VERY stern look...

Toots - hope the restrictive diet isn't too restrictive.... just think of all the sugar you'll be able to eat in two days :)

Had a lazy day. Still recovering a bit from the bump on the head etc. Just spent half an hour with the chicks. They managed to totally trash their cage today so that needed sorting and they free ranged on the kitchen floor for a while. They are growing up fast!

But I did do some paper sorting rather urgently this afternoon. I've managed to temporarily mislay a particular debit card, I have hunted high and low but it's not yet surfaced. It has to be in the house somewhere because it never leaves it! I will pin the devil in a bit...

G&B sorry just couldnt resist!!!!!! how is newton? I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy your clutter free home - it is very liberating - I must do it to mine!!
soappie unfortunately its not going to work that way - my diet will have to change - no more sweets, cakes, biscuits, less bread etc - have to get the sugar levels down and keep them down.

  • Hi Flygang,

Leavers service was beautiful - cue lots of sparkly eyed mums and dads! DS highly delighted with his leavers Bible Stories, so much so that he demanded several stories whilst he sat in the bath!:D

Now working through a list of personal thank you cards (having supervised DS doing his) and a picnic list so I can be ready for the last day tomorrow.

But first I must do a HHI - there must be a Proms concert on for company methinks...I love Proms season :D
