Should work out fine for you.

Not convinced it will work out fine for your brother though.

Positivity, don't take it personally, but generally taking out loans for family and friends leads to a hell of a lot of trouble. In many cases, the family/friend they take the loan for has a bad credit history and has failed to pay for credit in the past, which is why they can't get the loan in the first place.

I just hope that you are one of the cases where you don't let your family down and keep up with all the repayments, if you're not sure you can manage it, then don't get your brother to do it, otherwise you could well end up ruining your relationship.

Apply for a CC and spend a little bit each month and pay it off each month, it will start to build your credit score up.

I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!

How are you going to build your own credit history if you're relying on others to borrow on your behalf?
Is the loan urgent or is it for a purchase that can wait?

    Deception offences -

"A deception will be deliberate when the defendant knows that what he represents as true is untrue."

Is it really worth it ?

    What's the deception here?

His brother applied for a loan but wants the money paid to the OP.

Legally it's the brother's debt and legally the brother is responsible for making the payments.

I agree with that, but the OP said:
my brother has kindly done a loan for me in his name but with my bank details
If it's legally the brother's debt, then it needs to be the brother's bank details for repayment. Can't see they'd accept it with a third party's bank details.

So really all you want is for people to reply with exactly what you want to hear?

Why don't you just go buy a dictaphone and record the answer you want, then play it back to yourself. That might make you feel better. :D
