A lot of the stories are fine for little uns, but books like The Witches might be worth saving until they are a bit bigger. I loved the BFG when I was about 6, and those whizzpoppers...0

I have no idea what whizzpoppers are
, was very much an enid blyton girl myself. Am beginning to feel i have missed out, will have to check that all cds are in working order prior to giving them as a pressie at christmas
