I've used the Book People loads of time. Its a great site. There is no commitment to buy 4 books over the year etc. You just buy as many or as little as you want.
  • Thanks for that :) I am hoping for some quiet car journeys in the New Year :T

Wow what a find, I think christmas has just come early. DS no 2 has Dyslexia, he loves these books so will be over the moon with present.
I think these people send leaflets to childrens schools, always seem very resonable to me.
Ordered a book about the life of gnomes as a bit of a jokey present for a £1 and a book on Ti chi for mum as a stocking filler.
    regards to all

Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
  • Can I ask what age group these stories are suitable for? My son is 5 is he too young or have others ordered them for young children?

Perhaps i should order them for myself, as some of these stories i do not know at all :o

My son will be six next week, it might be a little while before he really appreciates them, but which child doesn't love Roald Dahl stories?

I've ordered them for my 7 year old daughter (she loves Roald Dahl) but I'm hoping my 3 year old son will listen to them too, I can't wait to listen to them myself! Maybe even the baby will like them - they're great stories :rotfl:

I think they'd be fine for a 5 year old, we read my daughter "Matilda" while on holiday 2 years ago when she was 5 and she was gripped!
