Don't get caught...like me!
I thought I was getting an unlock code from unlockcodes2u.com. They ask fro your imei number etc and send you an email for £3.99 +vat. What you get is the FREE advice given on the this website and NO UNLOCK CODE. A complete scam. Ouch.

When networks normally charge £20 to unlock I'd be suspicious of someone who says they can do it for quarter of the price! Case of "too good to be true" unfortunately.
Locking is really a ridiculous concept when you are normally tied into a plan anyway and you actually "own" the hardware. Some countries have sensibly banned this practise.
If you paid on a credit or debit card contact your provider as there is a chance they can do a charge back for as the transaction is effectively fraudulent.0 -

Unlock calcs are all over the net, so paying even ¼ of the service providers £20 charge for "unlocking" means you are close to being mugged off. When networks normally charge £20 to unlock I'd be suspicious of someone who says they can do it for quarter of the price! DIY, free or cheap unlocking has been around for years. Some networks do it for free. T-mobile sent me my unlock code free for a PAYG phone.0
