I live in a rural village and we get them every year when they start cutting the crops. They are so irritating!
I took my dogs out earlier and the flies kept landing on my glasses, so I had to keep taking them off and blowing them away. Here I go again on my own....0 -

In my patch of the Essex outback we get them every year when local farmers are harvesting particularly rape and wheat. They seems to get verywhere, they're even crawling up the inside of my computer screen. Just got to wait for them to peg it! Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

They are thrips, and they live in crops, especially corn of any description. They are unable to fly during strong breezes and will disappear once the harvest is in. Pray for bright days to speed the ripening of the corn!0
