Hello,

My garden every summer has these tiny little bugs in there 1000's swam my house windows and garden. They are black, thin and fly and get all over you and your stuff. Had them stuck in the lcd screen before.

Its gettin g right annoying and having to shut our windows all the time. Can anyone help us get rid of these please.

Thunderbugs? Just go outside in a yellow shirt and you'll collect thousands. :)
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

I think they are also called harvest bugs, because they are disturbed by the harvest collection.

We lived in the country for a long time, and we were absolutley plagued with them.

Nobody did any painting during July and August. lol

and no, you cant get rid of them, they'll go when they're ready and not a moment before.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

  • Sorry to hear that Bill - reassuring that others feel the same though, most people i have spoken to dont seem to think they are a big deal! I've lived in other rural areas and never had this problem :(
