    Steps for haggling

1.Set up your absolute max limit.
2.Walk away from dealer/garage if they don't give you suitable car in that price.
    3. If you can't get a car in that budget within 10 miles radius, increase radius by 20 miles, then 30 miles etc. as long as you are happy to travel that far.
    4. If you still can't get a car, raise your max. limit by 10% and start from step 1.

    :)
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.

I'd look to see if there's any servicing or parts replacements due and try to get them thrown in.

At 26k what are the tyres like, any down to 2-3mm and could you haggle getting them replaced? If it's 3 years then has it had its first MOT, if not will they be covering that? Go over it and check all of the functions/features - see if there's any that need fixing and get it thrown in.

Oh and is the 26k mileage genuine.

We dont drop our prices at all. As our prices are our bottom prices! We pay enough money everyyear to advertise on autotrader website, so by having our prices keen, it gets our cars at the top of peaoples searches.

Some places will know a gran off and you're thinking you're getting a good deal. but its the final price or the price to change that matters.

Agreed, it's the overall deal or purchase price that matters, not where it started or ends up.

Many more outfits seem to be doing this.;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
