£30.30 cashback, lovely ..... http://www.topcashback.co.uk/vanquis_credit_card/
I'll sent it back when I get the cashback in the bank!
It's the first card I've appplied for in 2 years.
I alos applied for capital one 1% cashback on all spends card for £18 cashback. I'll use this to replace egg money when Barclaycard destroy it.
Again, accepted with £18 cashback, enough to pay the first year's fee.

So basically for the sake of £30 you now have to have a vanquis card on your credit report for the next 6 years:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Going to bed every night and waking up knowing their is a vanquis credit card in your pocket let the nightmares begin.
Not in my case - I go to bed and finally have no nightmares about money. I can see how Vanquis could be horrific for some people but for me, have been a useful credit building tool.
I think it's a bit mean of all you with "excellent" credit profiles to spend so much time trashing the likes of Vanquis when, if used properly, they can help to build or restore credit worthiness.
A lot of us have made mistakes and I'd say most have learned from them. There is no need to rub it in our faces and say how thick we must all be to need or want Vanquis. So basically for the sake of £30 you now have to have a vanquis card on your credit report for the next 6 years:rotfl::rotfl:
I thought that other lenders couldn't see who the account was with when they search, just that it is a Credit Card or whatever? Happy to be corrected on this, obviously.0 -

Watalie unlike yourself their are many Vanquis credit card holders who are not using their card to their advantages in building up their credit score.
Also no, lenders will not see Vanquis when checking the credit files, but OP will for the next 6 years.0
