hi guys just looking for a little bit of info

There is a girl a few blocks down who hangs about with my cousin and she likes to "brag" about her motability car and it does my head in.
She got a mini last year and takes money off people like some sort of taxi service to pick them up and drop them off at clubs at the weekend

My cousin obviously doesn't care about the abuse of this charity car scheme cos he's getting cheap lifts up to the dancing at the weekends, or better still he said last week she was bloody tryign to sell eccies to the two lads he was with.
I asked him what was the girls condition and he told me she had no feeling in her feet so I said does the car have hand controls or anything and he told me it was just a regular car.
Told him to stay the heck away from her, nothing good can ever come of hanging around with her.

Urgh she really get's on my nerves this girl, she's got some cheek.
I'm not a "grass" (prob get head kicked in if she found out I said anything) but it's disgraceful the way she goes about her life.

Is there anything I can do with regards to this girl such as inform motability? In fact they probabaly don't even care cos they will be making some crazy profit regardless.
Urgh my post sounds like a Daily Mail comment!
I guess it was more of a rant sorry.

How is she committing fraud? The OP hasn't (from what's been said) that she's claiming DLA illegally.

Well I'm assuming that to get her transport she had to be eligble for High Rate DLA and meet certain criteria. So she must be eligible for the car and that her condition with the lack of feeling in her feet is part of that or it goes deeper than that.
What I don't agree with is that she is using it to ferry people around for cash like an illegal taxi service. Worse still looks like she is dealing drugs from it.
    Thanks for the link Anmarj.

Can you prove this? or is it just what you think you've seen or heard?

Hi , Firstly don't apologise if someone is abusing a motability car it is the same as any other type of benefit fraud and some may say even more so with motability as they are a non-profit making company that are over seen by the motability charity. You can call this number 01279 632233 which is the line for reporting abuse of car ask for them to ring you straight back if you need them to They may offer to send you out a booklet if you wish but I'm guessing that wouldn't be a good idea in your circumstances but don't worry you can tell them any details over the phone without giving your name etc. Have as many facts that you know such as the girls name , address , date of birth , car make and reg and reason that you believe the abuse to be but dont worry if you dont know all details. They will do the rest without any more from you. It goes without saying do not put yourself in any danger make sure you are in a trusted place to call and be careful who you repeat it to if anyone at all . Well done you though !! Take care K :)

:o Oh, you know what I mean! lol I look very silly now.

Round this area it's like mob rule.
Don't want my head to end up all pulpy on the wrong end of a hammer cos I'm a "grass" but don't wanna see people abusing the system either.

    You can't really win.

I like to think Karma exists too.

I've been a good girl, can I have £6k for a deposit to get me out of this hole of a neighbourhood? :(
