  • Thanks for all the inspiration from others - I've nearly got my first tenner!

Found a £2 coin in my 'weddings' hand bag, and have £7.50 in nectar points. I am waiting for about £150 from Quidco but I won't count that until it is paid.

Thanks for organising the challenge Gwen!

  • Hi - can you add us in as well please? Need something to aim for ... We'll be going for bronze and hopefully overachieving ;)

We've got £57.89 from TopCashBack claimed today and £93 in expenses that I'd forgotten about so claimed today after reading about this challenge so that's £150.89 .... Not a bad start!

  • Hi, like others I'm new to this but like the idea of getting ahead. I'll go for silver please :D
  • Gwen80, Can we include money for things we may have received for free? E.g. I sometimes get bags of handmedown clothes for my DD's. Would it be cheating to put an arbitrary amount (e.g. 50p or £1.00 per item) into the pot for these, as I would have had to pay for them?

Also, a friend is in the process of setting up a beauty therapy clinic and practiced doing tanning on me yesterday for free. I would have paid for this, can I put some money into the pot?

Just checking, as don't want to break the rules, just wondered what your thoughts were? (Thanks for setting this thread up, I love it) x

£1 washing machine treasure recovered from yesterday's darks wash.;)

Read the posts about free scratchcards and signed myself up with Littlewoodsbingo - somehow I managed to end up with £4 winnings, now I just have to remember to do the daily free scratch. :j

Also read up on the survey sites and signed up to three. Currently have £2.60 with Onepoll - not sure if I'll make the minimum payout of £40 by Christmas though! :undecided

Anyway I feel like I am doing something constructive and am quite enjoying it. :D
