Off to get some old gold weighed this morning (I don't have any scales!)

I have spent the last two days playing with lego - star wars & harry potter sets so that I can list them on ebay. I think there may be about £150 worth fingers crossed

Hi all

I joined about a week ago and realised I'd asked to join the silver challenge - when in fact I meant the bronze! I think silver would be a bit too much for me.......this year anyway!

So last week £25 M&S reward vouchers and £10 tesco - doubled up to £20 for toys (for nephews).

This week I used £3 off a £10 spend voucher at tesco so bought a few food hamper bits to put away for xmas - some really nice olives & cheese wafers which cost £3 - so basically i got free - so adding to my total - hope that's not cheating!;)

I also, after being inspired by a few other posts, had a good hunt through all my bags and coat pockets etc and found £3!

So total so far £51. Plan over the next couple of weeks to sell some bits on ebay. Might look at survey sites as well. I'll keep reading posts for more ideas.

Good morning everyone,

Everyone seems to be working really hard to get their totals up. I really must get my finger out. Have a garage full of stuff for car boot, but can't quite seem to bring myself to actually get the car packed up on a sunday morning!!!

Have managed to get some great stocking fillers for my DDs yesterday in primarni, which I am very pleased about, and also receive £10.00 cheque today for mobile phone I sold online. Also, I got a free train journey on Thursday night which I had expected to pay so am including that so that's another £8.00.

After being inspired by all your posts, I am determined to get at least ONE thing done today to make some money for this challenge. Good luck everyone, and have a great day. x

Morning everyone - nice late lazy Saturday morning anyway!

I used Hatton Garden Metals to sell my old gold - £195 better off as a result - that was for a very small amount of old broken chains / odd earrings / rings with lost stones etc. Their service & price really was excellent. :j

I have listed all the lego on ebay and am now waiting for the bids to roll in.

My total is £366.89 - I think I will upgrade to the silver challenge as that doesn't include the ebay or quidco tracking :beer:
