Me and my partner are going to Egypt, Sharm-El-Sheik to be precise, were both taking about 1k each. Im trying to find out what the best and safest method of taking money abroad?.
We'll be changing about £50-£100 here to egyptian but the rest will be £.

Will your travel insurance provide cover for carrying so much cash?
Why not just use an ATM while you are there?

I havent actually checked that if im being honest, i doubt it though.
I thought about that but where staying at a hotel called Sol Y Mar in sharks bay which is in the middle of no-where.
Im not sure if i should take travellers cheques instead.0 -
Travellers cheques are never good value nowadays. I expect ATMs would be available in this resort.0
