According to my bank, £74.50 is being credited back by Procleanse, and they are working on the other one! The bank still do not class this as fraud, perhaps soneone should remind them of the legal definition and they should look at the Fraud Act. Being bankers I dare say they think the act is nothing to do with them, and as it has only been around for 4 years they probably have not got around to thinking about it yet!
• Hi,
The same thing has happened to my sister. I told her to do some research in the net before buying anything but ... she finally ordered a free trial!
She has been charged around 78€ (according to them only postage + packing - may be gold???) from her account as she did not cancel within the 14 day trial period and I tried to cancel the future ones by sending an e-mail to: help@mycysupport.com (the only one that works).
As the web and the phone do not work and many of their e-mail addresses bounce, I finally managed to get my e-mail to them (please see below) and this below is their answer:

Please note that within the initial free trial costs you would have paid just for the postage and packing, you didn't cancel within the 14 day trial period and as such we've charged € 78.60 and send you another bottle of PRO Cleanse Gold capsules to complete your first months subscription (including your trial supply).

To qualify for your refund, please send your opened/unopened bottle/s to the address below with the returns number at the following address:

Your returns number is:

The returns address is:

VALUE PRICING DISTRIBUTORS LIMITED
Regus House
Victory Way, Admirals Park,
Crossways
Dartford, DA2 6QD

Please ensure you quote the above given returns number within your returned bottle/s and please use a recorded delivery service to ensure we receive your package, any packages that are received without a returns number may not be able to guarantee to process your refund in time.

However we can again assure that you that you will not be charged or shipped for any future orders and wish you the best of luck.

Thanks and kind regards,

Deborah Gibson

hmm, if you had to give them bank details in order to get the free trial, did you not sense it was a little bit fishy ?
• I, too, have been scammed by Procleanse Gold. I ordered their trial, goodness knows why, and cancelled within five days, by email, on 1st October. Today, 18th October, I receive a further supply, at a cost of £77 plus.

I have been in touch with my credit card company and hopefully they will sort out the matter. I am returning the goods to the address on the package, Value Pricing Distributors in Dartford, Kent. Their envelope, incidentally, asks for a signature, but the goods were left in my porch, without a signature.

Be aware, Dietmax also do the same scams. However, I paid by a different credit card, Halifax, who are being very unhelpful, but as I have never received the goods, this is a fraudulent charge and I may get this back next month.

Do not buy from anyone like these companies.
• Make sure you report them to the insolvency service too as they are cracking down on these free trial scam companies (contact details at the end of this article: http://nds.coi.gov.uk/content/detail.aspx?NewsAreaId=2&ReleaseID=415330&SubjectId=2 )
