I revisited the supermarket in peebles with the self service problem. They phoned me up and offered me extra to go that afternoon even though I had just been. Visit went ok this time, put in my report. Then got queried about why my visit was so quick and why my receipt time was 5 mins before the exit time I had put in. It's a small store!! And i had just been the week before and knew where everything was so I was twice as quick getting round it. Visited the toilets and the customer desk on the way out as i just about ran to get a cashier till before they put me thru the self service again.

I feel like it's been a fortnight of sending and answering queries. Probably hasnt been that bad but I'm scunnered with it. 11:19???? The pub's open. May be there till Sunday.

I have just completed a convenience store visit for GFK and the staff member has given me the wrong receipt, I have put it in my notes why I cannot upload it. The staff member took the right amount of money off me but maybe only rang it through as a paper! Will the company be okay about it. I never thought to check the receipt.

Is it a totally wrong receipt or a partial receipt ?

IE did you buy say a paper and something else and only got a receipt for the paper.

If it's partial -staff member is probably pocketing the money for the other item -if it's totally different-could be a mistake giving you the customer before's receipt. I'd be very clear which it is when you speak to GFK but they should be fine with it-especically if you've picked up staff dishonesty.

Thanks - no, i didn't buy a paper,it is either the customers before or she charged me for a paper and then pocketed the difference not sure which. I have told GFk in my notes the reason why I did not get the correct receipt.
