  • Good evening. I've just noticed that for two jobs I did for grassroots on the same day, only one was paid yesterday. The other is still pending. Should I be worried???? Can't think of any issues arising from the visit and no-one has contacted me........ The jobs were for different companies and the one not paid (yet)was a phone shop :(.

    Anyone else had this?

If it's the phone shop that I'm thinking of, don't worry it took about a month and half for one of mine to be paid. They are just really slow at paying that one. Something to do with the phone shops having enough time to come back on the mystery shop apparently.

  • Arrrgh! how hard is it to use bcc instead of cc? Not happy with AA.
  • Just tried it and it's working fine for me.

Yet when I asked for my password, it sent it straightaway and recognised my email address :(

Odd, maybe it's one of those systems where not all of it updates at once? I guess send them an email, can't think of anything else to try.

Had a lovely shop today did three posh make-up counters for ESA with an increased fee. Oh how I laughed when I came out of one. The brief was to buy an item then return it, I returned it at the CS desk and the girl took me to the said make-up counter. The lady who had served me turned nasty and started asking for the little sample that she had given me back. Will be great writing this one up, she picked on the wrong person today.

I would send them am email, and if anyone else got the same email they should also, reminding them that you provided your information to them in the knowledge that you are protected by the Data Protection Act etc etc, and that you are very dissapointed/angry that they have forwarded your email address onto others.
Nothing they can do about it now, but night help make them be a bit more careful next time!

  • I have just seen some fuel audits on Gap (in the Glasgow/Stirling Area) for their existing fuel client but open audits which have not seen before. I applied for a few of them but they have all been rejected. Anyone any theories why.. I have done a few reports for this client and not had any issues before??

Mostly with RE Business midweek visits.

Done about 40 of them, though I think that has been curtailed as the new allocator is apply the 9 month rule.

I used to help out on the stragglers and the previous allocator was good to me with extra fees etc.
I received a begging mail for one of the ones I do and replied to say that I could do it, only to be told that I couldn't because of this rule. Why mail me and ask me to do this particular one then?!

I'm not in your league though, 40 is a massive amount, good on you :D. I'd not get enough for a holiday for quite some time, especially as I don't get points for all mine either, some don't qualify.

I've done quite a few of these as well but always read the brief as not being able to use the priority card. Would you mind PMing me the tip to get the points please Blindman?

The old allocator used to be great and let you have as many as you liked; and on occasions add a fee. But the new one seems to be playing by the rules I think :(.

If it's the red petrol no idea. If it's seaside then you can't be an auditor and a mystery shopper for the seaside lot *rolls eyes* which annoys me since I can't mystery shop the local one that doesn't get audited but always delivers service with a scowl....
