  • I seem to be having a week of closed shops..

Went to do a React Jewellery shop today and it was closed for refurbishment. It had covers over the shop front and a sign saying it was shut from yesterday so I got photos of both of them.

I have emailed the photos to React and I do not expect any queries on the shop being shut, however anyone know what their payment policy is in situations like this? Will they still give me both the fee and travel money (which helps influence me doing the visit) or are they likely to give less?
  • Ooh, you evil lot, all ignoring me ;)

Anyone able to give me a referral for bare at all?

Not ignoring you, just no idea of the answer! I'm offline for a bit now, but if no one pm's you about bare, send me a message and I'll sort you out tomorrow.

Hi, forgive me if I sound like I'm being lazy and asking a question before reading the thread but I've just signed up for Gapbuster, did all the orientation tests and am now on the search for a job page.. and there doesn't seem to be an option to search for my local district Leeds... I've done a google search and on these forums but can't seem to find an answer, do they just not cover that area? I'll be gutted if so, its taken me the best part of the night to go through all the orientation tests haha!

Hi there. I'm new too, so could be a case of blind leading the blind, but my one shows an option to search Leeds, it splits it into Leeds, Colton, Hunslet and Morley.

    Hello again all.

I posted this yesterday, but got buried at the bottom of a page!

Any ideas anyone, it's so depressing seeing all those lovely jobs and having to wait for another month before applying, grr!

React will pay you if there were no seats there were no seats.

Yeah thats what I thought, and it's most unlike them to pay early...unless this is late payments from last month.

Nah, money was for August jobs. They paid early last month too, perhaps making up for the previous few months...?

Can i just ask how many jobs GAP usually allow per month, and whether it varies from person to person/ area etc? I've done all the tests, so I don't think it's that.

Oh, and if anyone else is new to GAP, please could you let me know how many jobs you're allowed to book.

Well I know sometimes I can only book 5 burger gigs... or a few stamp jobs. I believe once youve done a few gigs you will find your limits raised.
  • used to be 6 burger joints

I'm fairly sure I'm limited to 6 greasy burgers a month, but not sure if I have limits for others since I don't recall the last time I had a job request rejected other than for those I wasn't sure if I was still trying to shop within a month of my last visit.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Re: React, I did one which was closed, I was paid the travel and half the fee. If in doubt, contact the adorable lady who deals with their queries. Always helpful and lovely. :-)

OMG! Not a single visit for the rest of the week. :(:(
