Hi eveyone,
Im very new to this Mystery shopping business. I was hoping someone can advise which companies would be best to work for and if any have a lot of jobs for Bristol/South west area specifically? I have read a lot of the posts on the thread so i am familiar with the companies out there and the whole tax thing but can anyone give me a realistic figure how much i can earn a month from this? Bearing in mind a work full time. Im only look for extra cash and thought this would be fun! I have my first job in my lunch break at a fast food place. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Welcome to the thread. How much you will make totally depends on what your willing to do and whether the work is their. I'm afraid i can't be more specific.
I work full time. Sometimes i can make £50 sometimes £250. Totally depends on the cycle of work on offer and whether it fits into my other daily activities.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

There are no jobs in the Bristol area :whistle:0 -
I am sure this has been asked before but I can not find the post about it.
I did a corner shop for GAP this morning that was shut when I got there. The opening hours on the briefing sheet showed it opened at 9.00am, I was there just after then and waited for 15 mins but there was no sign of life. The shutters were down over the windows and doors and it did not look like it was about to open any time soon. I have got a photo of it showing this.
How do I report this to GAP?? Any other company I would have phoned them about it but not sure with GAP.. Also any theories what if anything I will get paid?0 -
Is anyone else having problems accessing eDigital? I can't access it at all and have 3 survey to finish by 17:00 today! Arghhh!!0

A MS company sent me an email a few hours ago asking for a job to be completed tomorrow evening for a shop a 5 minute drive from me.
I know this email will have gone to more than just me.
This paragraph made me think
"Due to the urgency of these visits we would like to hear back from anyone who is interested regardless of when they last visited the store or their distance from the location of interest. Mileage costs can be negotiated if required and we will go with the best offers."
Was this an invitation to me to reply back saying give me £30 fee instead of how much you're offering and I'll do it? If people live 30 miles away, would you bother doing the round trip?
I just wondered how far some of you go to do a one off shop.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I can not get into them through the link you get in the email from them but this one seems to be working for me:-

It depends! I regularly go to Perth, 40 miles round trip, for a one off if they pay mileage and/or I can fit it in with a visit to pals etc.
I have gone to Glasgow (150ish) for a decent meal so I can see my son for dinner and Edinburgh (120 ish ) for a meal so I can meet up with a pal.
But in general I tend to stick within 20-30 miles round trip, though in Scotland you need to be prepared to travel if you want work!0 -
Whilst on the Abai pet hates discussion, my biggest problem is the way their reports disappear on completion with no opportunity to double check the submission. There is a bar showing how far you are through, but the last page just disappears when completed, and as you can't see the questionnaire before the visit, this can come as a surprise!0

I agree with that and it also depends on what work you can fit together and the report you have to do at the end of it. I would be more likely to do a longer trip for a circuit of stamp shops which have a relatively quick report rather than a circuit of RE stores with their long report.0
