Is anyone as daft as me with GAP golden arches drive thru's. I am OK with my local ones as I know the layout. But recently did 2 after getting begging phone calls. 1st was tiny and very tight turns. Felt as if I was at the Dodgems ( remember them). I stopped at the 1st window, gave my order paid then turned and I was back in the car park. Had to rejoin the queue. It was so funny the guy said he was hanging out of the window and I shot past him like Lewis Hamilton. Did another last week and stopped at 1st window... no one there so drove onto the next. But they said it was the collection window.!!! Girl in the order one must have bent down so I thought no one was there.

I had that once, when I wasn't MSing luckily. It was quiet and there was someone stood out taking orders she said "go round to the second window", went round the corner, 1st window was closed so went onto the second to be told it was the collection window.

I had to do the reverse of shame so I wasn't impressed. Apparently the first window was behind the woman who took my order. I left incredibly grumpy and annoyed. I was even more annoyed that it was just after I started my diet and I was picking up food for my partner, not for me :rotfl:

Sometimes I feel awful doing this job. I did a travel agent today and the woman was wonderful, she put loads of work in, I came out feeling really guilty that I never had any plan to buy anything :( Plus I really want to go on holiday now !
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

I did a travel agent visit a few months ago that was fantastic, really really good. The lass phoned me the day after to see if I was still interested and I soooo wanted to say "I'm a mystery shopper, I've wrote the best report I've ever wrote, about you, and I hope it get's you a big fat bonus and payrise" But I couldn't because then I'd never be able to do a visit there again!

I've just done my first assignment for Grass Roots and I just want to make sure that I fill in the Results properly.
It was a Supermarket internet home delivery order.
So for example, where it asks for the worder number, do I just enter the order number, or do I have to put it as a sentence, so "My order number is/was XXX?
Don't want to mess up my first job for them, and from what I've read through these threads, as I'm trying to read as much as poss so I have a clear picture of what different companies expect, some of them seem to be really anal about things like this.

    Thank you :)

Just to double check the same thing again really tonight, but this time with colleagues names for a Supermarket visit for Grass Roots - can I just enter "Bob" in the box, or does it need to be "The colleagues name was Bob" or words to that effect??

How do you deal with going out of your comfort zone?

I have a job tomorrow, I didn't actually see the briefing notes before I accepted it and I have to say I used to be a hairdresser. Now, right now I need a good haircut and have bad roots, I really don't feel I look like someone who used to be a hairdresser, lol. And I'm not fully sure how to pronounce the names of the products I have to enquire about.

REACT - I did a shop for them yesterday. The tills were all down so I couldn't get a receipt. I did the report. The picture I sent off said that I couldn't get a receipt as the tills were down. I asked the staff member directly for a receipt and she apologised as she couldn't give one. I emailed them immediately after submitting the report to say I couldn't get a receipt as the tills were down. I'm more than happy for them to ring the cinema to check the food tills were down last night. The notes say try to make sure you are given a receipt. I did try - the tills were down!

My laptop is finally up and running after crashing first thing this morning - I've just checked my Job Board and the JOB HAS DISAPPEARED. Am I not going to get paid for it?

A phone call is needed first thing in the morning I think...but am seriously not impressed. Am holding off entering the same job I did for them tonight until its all answered.

Loads of hairdressers have crap hair so I wouldn't worry about that giving you away. As far as the pronunciation goes if you get on well with your own stylist maybe you could call in and ask them how to pronounce the items? :)

I did a car showroom test drive and actually bought a new car although I'd no intention of buying one before doing the job!!

If you don't have your own stylist to ask, another alternative is could you maybe go into a different hair dressers with a list you've written and ask whether they sell them/where you can get them from. Say your sister has said that they are things your niece wants for her birthday but you're not really sure what they are, and if you act all confused there's no reason why you can't say, "I don't even know how to pronounce some of these", and point to them on your list. Usually if someone is pointing to something written down and making an attempt to pronounce it, the person will say it correctly to you.

    If that makes sense!! :D
