I am NEVER doing any work for the MS company starting with T ever again, what a nightmare, aside from the rude email yesterday they now want more detail in my reports, their brief states the amount of words to write so I stuck to it. I did 2 shops for them and to be honest the service was the same in both so the reports are virtually identical, oh but thats not good enough....what do they want me to do fabricate the lot...!!!!!!....

    Is it Tern?

If so, I always ignore the word limit - just write loads of detail, and include everything that happened, and you'll get 10/10 (well, at least I do :j).

    Me too!

I got told the word limit was a minimum word limit, so people have to explain exactly what happened rather than just writing "service was good" or similar!
Here I go again on my own....

... Ok what do you guys think?

there was a job posting for an hotel, with a fee advertised on the other MS forum. So I emailed.. she said its gone for Sept but good for October. I said ok great.. Filled out the application she said right ill allocate it to you for Oct.

I said Um... Do I get the details about the job (like where im going etc)... she said "its too early for that"

!!!!!!? I thought i never accept visits with out knowing where im going. Doesn't it seem weird what if its a hotel Ive just been to etc. Or a scuzzy brothel style.

Just kinda miffed but maybe this is the norm... incase she thinks im a spy?

    It is yes....

Thats what I thought but it clearly states write between 40-80 words and like some MS co's I thought i'd be penalised for going over. Cant win. Def my last with them. The 2 assignments have now cost me so much time they werent worth doing and i'm so close to saying no, cancel them, de-allocate me....

If they're unwilling to give full details perhaps they could give you location i.e. the town it's in and an indication of whether its at the Travel Inn end of the scale or the Ritz end that would at least help you a bit :)

Is it the first job you've done for this particular company? That might be why they're being a bit guarded since there's nothing to stop people from other MS companies signing up pretending to be shoppers to find out who has what client and then poaching them :o

And lets be honest, we all spend most of our days lying for a living :rotfl:

Did anybody in my area see the hotels on RE as there were none for me. I didn't see any of the pubs either, and I always used to. :(

Me too! I never saw hotels, pubs or business calls, I have emailed them about it so lets see.

I saw the calls but not the hotels or pubs.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

The reason we don't see them is because our business email hasn't been approved. They all go into a collective pool waiting to be marked as ok (no order to this) and when they have time they randomly go through it. Hence we don't see them.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
