I'm furious with a supposedly good MS company, their attitude is awful. See below email received today:

Please can you contact me as soon as you can for an update on the above visit? I know you have completed the visit but without the completed report we cannot pay you. Please can you let me know if you are completing the report or if I need to get this reallocated as it is now way overdue.
If I do not have the report or hear from you by 9.00am tomorrow morning (02.09.2010) I will be reallocating this visit and permanently deactivating you from our system.

The report is just about complete and i've had some issues which they know have delayed my completion, I've kept them as upto date as poss without telling them my issues (personal and unexpected). I do not like threats in emails, theres no need and i've replied back telling them so. I hardly get any work from them and dont expect to get any more now.

Looks to me like an automated email that is sent when a report is late or overdue... If you've spoken to them about it, there's no need to worry.

I reckon in know which company!

Hope you're ok Kelly anyway. Luckily this is a job where we don't have to rely too much on one company.

Its def not automated. I'll give you a clue the company starts with a T.

I'm ok, thanks but really pi**ed off with their attitude, I was in a mind to tell them to remove me and they can swing for their completed assignments.

In fairness, if the company have already been patiant, perhaps that patience is fast running out? It could've been worded slightly better, but I can kinda see where they're coming from.

I actually think they must have some sort of 'area manager' system in place coz since I moved I've had phone calls off both the woman I'm used to talking to and a bloke I'd never spoken to before.

She's a 'mare, didn't quite get that I just moved a 4 hour drive from the site she was asking me to visit today, while he's lovely. Phoned to see if I could bring an assignment forward, when I explained I couldn't was quite happy with that and checked from my new postcode for any other jobs he could offer me for this week

'so I don't need to disturb you again if I dont need to' I give him a couple of weeks with gyp before he's gone for being too nice. :rotfl:

I think I know the woman you are talking about she is such a rude cow.

She once phoned me 5 mins in to the time period for a chicken job which she'd phoned and begged me to do that lunchtime, and gave me grief for not having done it yet - at the time I was stood in the queue waiting to be served, so I hung up, she called back 6 times while I was being served and gyp wonder why we don't like answering the phones to them!

Could somebody point me in the right direction for invoicing Amber Arch please? I can't seem to get to the correct place, despite clicking on the link on the 1st page.

If you've done a job on their old system, they would have sent you an invoice to complete with the job notes...

I thought you had to log into the "old" website. Then along the top it has "home" "assignments" "invoices" "details". Click Invoices then "new invoice"
