Good idea, where do you keep your phone - dare I ask? Had mine in my bra strap hence it falling out when I leant over!!!!! Also I've been wondering whether I can use two apps at the same time? Will try today

I have a wee handbag and I put it in the wee side pocket so the microphone is sticking out. My bag is wee so I always sit it on the counter/desk or whatever. if you have the voice recorder running you don't need the stop watch because you can take the timings when you are playing it back. Good luck :)

Ooops forgot to ask about ABA. I couldn't find a questionnaire to see prior to the visit, just the briefing sheet. Also when I came to do the online submission it wouldn't let me go back to check my answers. I missed some vital information out and the next thing the damn thing had sent, ggrrrr. - another email sent!

That's the main negative point for shopping with ABAi IMO. For some of the clients, you can view the questionnaire when you click in to view the job details online, prior to accepting it IYSWIM.

Other than that, you just have to rely on the assignment notes to know what to look for really.

If you want to PM me with which client it is, I may be able to tell you what specific things you need to look for.

Well, my week is a register with every compnay week lol

Looking back some just don't reply which i think is a bit rude!!

oh well, i shall make my way though the list of about 20 lol

It's hard when you do a company for the first time as you have no idea who they shop or how they work. a little fustrating lol

Sounds good. I am going to do my trial eDig reveiw and I am also going to do all my paperwork and track anything that I haven't been paid for :)
  • Hi. Just back from a short holiday. Stayed in a young persons budget accomodation place and thank goodness I wasn't mystery shopping it. Wouldn't know where to start . Got told off by dh for not being able to take off my mystery shopper hat on holiday!

Just before I left there were a few people saying that their tns payments seemed wrong, but no-one had received their pay slips to confirm it. Now I have mine, the expenses are missing from one job and another job had been ignored completely. Did other people have problems too? Have scanned back through the forum but couldn't see any further discussion (hope I didn't miss it).

Have emailed the suggested tns person (A.C) - will I get a response?????

If you're not sure about the questionnaire, you can always email them and ask them to send a link to it before you do the job. The Golden rule to remember is DONT HIT THE SUBMIT BUTTON until you're sure you've finished! You can go back and add/amend previous pages but once you've hit submit that's it - it doesn't even give you an "Are you sure?" option, does it, it's gone like that!!!!

You can always send ABA-i an email with any extra info and they will incorporate it into the report. I do it all, I frequently find 999 characters aren't enough for what I need to say!

I was going to say ESA haven't paid me, 'cos it wasn't there an hour ago, but I just logged into my bank account for something else and the payment is there. Whoo-hoo more spending money for my holiday!

Yes - and she should be able to help. She doesn't work Monday-Friday 9-5 though, so the response may take a day or two.

Quite agree. My day job is actually in QA. I'm having a field day with some of these processes. Looks like an industry ripe for an overhaul, there's a business opportunity in there for someone that knows how to listen to shoppers as well as clients! How many times do you think I've answered what you asked me but it hasn't captured the glaring shortfall? I've tried to stick stuff in and the computer generated stuff will not accept it, crazy someone has to design these programmes! Or address the fact that in many cases you could just ask a few sensible questions to get to the right outcome? I'm soon learning who my preferred MS companies are.

    I'll PM you cheers!

Morning people. I wasn't going to do any MSing yesterday, but the pull of a free lunch and dinner proved too much to resist.. :D

Quick question: what expenses do Tern reimburse? This month was the first I've done jobs for them; I know the form says to send one form per month, but (for example) how much mileage can you claim? And is there a maximum? Thanks!
