I have a posh handbag to do this week. I am a bit worried about it because I am not sure that I can carry it off. I think the bag is hideous - I am a radley person. I could probabably dress appropriately to carry it off but I still won't look the type to pay all that money for a bag. Anyone got any advice?:question:.

I did this one and where the place was located was in Edinburghs POSSSHHH part I just said that my husband was wanting to buy an anniversary gift for me... I dropped that hes an accountant or something along those lines... and he wants me to pick out a gift. So i went from there. the sales people were really lovely.

Just been thinking about these Edigital surveys. Does anyone know how to find out how much we are being charged for using all these 0844 numbers? Some are listed and that's fine, except when my 8min call was 10p/min! It reduces the fee somewhat for a simple survey.
I have emailed BT just wondered if anyone else knew
    thanks

I must admit i cheat on that. Do all my phone calls at work. Only prob being that when you write your expenses down the tax man will need to see your phone records. Bit of a pain!!!

Crumbs, I wish someone mystery shopped Sky. My box has broken and I couldn't get them to fix or replace it so tried to cancel. Good grief. I had a bit of fun with the guy and he got quite cross so he decided to leave me on the line for ages. He was also quite up for a fight!

So what did you say to him? Sounds interesting lol. Did you have any success at all? Can you switch to Virgin or anything?

Tbh, thats highly unlikely unless your expenses far outweigh your profit.

Well, he tried to get me to have a HD box but I don't have a HD tv...then a half-price callout...but I was going on about how their deals for new customers were better. He ended up telling me he was a man who could multi-task and practically challenged me to fight! :T

I was so annoyed that I did cancel in the end.

The chances of being assessed by the tax man are slim i know but, but legally you do theoretically have to keep these if claiming them as an expense.

Not saying i agree with it, simply saying legally she is required to and should she find herself audited would be expected to have these.

Done that store - staff are very decent there. Like monkey says, you just have to have the mindset that you can afford it. I went in looking a right scruff and got top notch service - and why not? I presented a perfectly plausible story about why I was there and well off people are allowed to dress casually. From working in retail, the big spenders are certainly not always the people you expect them to be (at least stereotypically).

I don't get itemised bills. Do I need to for tax purposes?
Moving onto a better place...Ciao
