instant decision credit cards?

i've been looking at taking out a credit card and found these instant decision choices:

Egg credit card

tesco clubcard

i'm not sure which is the bes to suit me, they both have apr of between 16.9%-21.6% i think.

anyone got a credit card with any of these?, or which other credit cards would suit me?

i wouldnt spend heavily on it but at the same time dont want to be charged vast amounts of interest.

What exactly do you want the card for?

    Tesco points?

    Balance transfer?

You need to give us a little more information

sorry. urrm mainly shopping to be honest, and using when i'm a bit low on cash.

does the higher the apr percentage mean the higher interest rate?

How is your credit history? Neither of these cards is particularly easy to get for a first-timer. Anyway, if you pay off the full balance every month, the interest rate is irrelevant.

Tesco's isn't usually approved unless you're on the ER and have some previous history.

If you're a first timer, chances are your credit history isn't "good" for them.

Platinum Barclaycard and Breathe have lower APR's than that.
