    Sometimes when Firefox doesn't shut down cleanly it doesn't delete the lock file. That's why you have to go and delete it yourself (Or else use Task Manager to force Firefox to quit cleanly).


    I have a feeling you are right.Is there no other way of dealing with this.By the way do you happen to be in the fruit trade as I may recognise your moniker. Thanks John
