price match???

Hi,
I've been phoning companies all day yesterday and all day today trying to get them to price match. I've spoken to most of the reputable companies CPWH e2save, dialaphone, mobileshop etc. They are all happy to price match against each other but when it comes to getting them to price match against the less reputable companies like coolnewmobile, mobilerainbow etc. you have no chance.
I've tried the CPWH online price matching facility but they just ignore my requests, please let me know if you have any luck getting anyone to price match.

Orange have their OVP facility where they can match tariffs, but if you are getting other deals on top i.e. half price line rental, they wouldn't,CPW Retail

CPW dont seem to know what they are doing and cannot seem to decide whether in fact they do a price match. It seems to depend on who you talk to and if there is an r in the month.
I have been told today that they stopped price matching three months ago. A few weeks ago they said they would price match and then found three different reasons for turning my request down.0 -

I called them today and was told they do price match but only against companies that have the same T&Cs as they do. I asked them specifically which companies they would price match against and all the sales woman could come up with was e2save and onestopphoneshop. Which I believe are both associated or linked with CPWH in some way.

Its okay Spunky they make it up as they go along. Tomorrow will be another day but the price promise is still there.0

e2save & OSPS are owned by CPW AFAIK - I think the e2save logo now mentions CPW.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers :eek: )!0
