Micro Sim Adapter

I got myself an iPad a few weeks ago for mobile email/internet. My 3G dongle via Three internet has a standard sim so I called Three and asked for a new Micro Sim to fit the iPad.

Three have sent me a new micro sim but I am told that my old sim will cease to work when I use it.

The thing is I want to keep the best of both worlds (laptop for working and iPad for simply tasks like email on the go).

The micro sim format looks to be same chip mounted on a smaller plastic base. Does anyone know if an adapter is around so I could use the same micro sim on both devices (ipad and usb modem dongle)?
