    drive 1 pass, so i have to disconnect one of the drives?
    There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.

    Took out drive 0 and as the other drive still has windows 7 on it, that one has booted and working, so i must have a faulty drive.

    Can you access drive '0' from drive '1' in order to retrieve important info? Do you want the XP disc in order to attempt a repair install?

    I think I'll be able to, if I move the connections around, the drive that I'm accessing now was the one I used for all my music, photos, and I've just ordered an external drive to be able to back this one up. I will still need the xp disc to reinstall/repair.
