  • I've never understood why so many DAB radios have a single/mono speaker........ so upgrading from stereo to mono.... oh yipee.

Seems like a backwards step / downgrade to me.

Your pride if you're spotted buying it.

    dont be so pathetic...

Picking on the Daily Mail readers is like picking on the Irish 50 years ago - a supposedly easy target.

I am proud to read the Daily Mail.

I do apologise. My target wasn't the poor deluded people who buy the thing and believe all its scare stories. The target was the paper itself - a gloom-laden poisonous little rag that pretends to be a cut above the other tabloids like the Sun and the Star but actually appeals to much baser instincts.

But proud? How could anyone be proud of reading such a nasty little tabloid?
  • I sent mine off as soon as the address was announced, I read the D Mail anyway so no cost to me, I did get there freeview offer and I am pleased with that, took a fair while to come, I think they don't order them till they know how many they need, think thats why it takes so long, you know slow boat form China
  • I sent mine off as soon as the date was announced but haven't received mine yet. Was it worth the wait?

It seems that it has been deliberately designed not to take ordinary batteries so you have to fork out for the (pricey) rechargeable pack to use it as a portable. The same design genius also forgot to put in a headphone socket apparently! No wonder they want to get shot of them.
