Sorry about the confusion. They look almost identical.

The one I bought was the Sony DSC500.

I am a novice with cameras and this is straightforward to use. I have already tried it and the pictures that I downloaded onto my PC look fine.

I would recommend it. A real bargain for under £90.

If we are going by prices then I think the camera in the OP will be the better camera as it is a little more expensive.

As I've said though, I do think the DSC500 is a bargain at the price I paid.
