My sister is also a stealth diasbled person, she walks fine talks fine is only 41 and still has all her own joints, thing is she has crones disease which gives her the higher rate of disability living allowance, which also gives her a blue badge if she wanted one.
So you see dont jump to conclusions unless you know the answer ( oh and by the way she is a barbie she used to be a model )You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -

I think everyone is totally missing the point of this.
I never use disabled parking spaces and I think that the original poster was wrong in doing this. However, they asked for advice and not presumably to open up a debate where you all get snippy with each other.
This forum is here for help and once it has been given I dont think commenting on the different range of disabled people is particulary productive. In fact I have read through and I find it insulting0 -

I dont use disabled spaces unless I need to, ie I have a disabled relative with me.
Why do you find it insulting ? no one is slagging anyone off we are just stating how the private parking companies are trying to enforce something which they cannot do.You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -

I have to disagree. The DDA is widely misunderstood by all segments of society, which is most discouraging and demands to be addressed by all right thinking individuals. He who does not repel a wrong when he can, occasions it.0 -

No people aren't missing the point, but they are widening the post, ie, as in mine where I stated I don't use them when I actually can, Things are seldom black;) and white.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
