Just keep the books
They are unsolicited and you havent asked for them:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

I'm not sure they can use this argument as they joined the club and it would have been in the t&c's. Although the first book was no obligation, I suspect that something actually needed to have been done to prevent any further books coming. Usually there is something with the no obligation book stating that if you do not require any more books you need to write to them within so many days telling them that. If that is not the case then they are indeed unsolicited and can simply be kept.0 -

I'm having problems with the Reader's Digest too! Must be the season for it
. Fortunately they address it to the wrong flat in this complex. Postie knows me now (only been here 10 months!) and gives them to me rather than the lady at the flat they think I live at
I just put a sticker on saying 'Not known - return to sender' and stick them back in the postbox. (the plastic cover is impossible to write on). Have had two identical bills from them too...... needless to say they aint getting any money from me.

I had that James Paterson book package through a few months ago too.
I phoned them to say I hadn't asked for it and they asked me to post it back. I protested that I wasn't willing to pay to post it back seeing as I hadn't asked for it and a few minutes later they agreed to send me a label with postage paid so that I could post it back for free (I just taped up the original packaging).
OK I was still annoyed that I had to make the effort to go down to the post office, but just to let you know that its worth just asking if they'll pay."People who "do things" exceed my endurance,

You're worrying me now. I got a call from the fantasy and sf book club offering me a box set for £1.49, which I accepted. I'm sure they said there was no obligation to buy anything further, or I wouldn't have agreed. I haven't had any extra books since, but it sounds like I will have. Oh dear, another problem.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Yes well I have still heard back from none of the above. My payment is now overdue so I guess I will have to pay now as interest is getting added, but then what happens when the next books arrive???Dream of being mortgage free....
