  • Got 20,000 from a survey the other day so well over the amount needed now anyway.

I wasn't aware you got points for writing opinions, is it 100 each?

have you recieved the 20,000 points yet? it may take a while to go through, so if your wanting to quit T&V id just write 3 quick opinions and get rid as soon as you can. the 100 points for opinions are usually creditted within hours. so this may be a quicker option if you have only 260 to go.
  • I wonder if anyone can give me some advice on how to deal with T&V with regards non-creditted points?
I've been waiting for a long while for a few surveys(4 since july, 2 from september)to have points creditted. the points add up to over 40,000 so i want them credited so i can also quit.
i've e-mailed T&V numerous times-they eventually replied saying they want the invites i got for the surveys-so I've sent them and asked them to e-mail me to say they'd recieved them. I've sent the same e-mail a further 3 times cos they still hadnt said they got them, and requested a 'read reciept' on my e-mail. i still haven't got anything and haven't got the read reciept from my email.
i then e-mailed them saying i wasn't happy and that i've completed these surveys from them yet not recieved the rewards i was promised-so this is false advertising so they should sort it out ASAP.
even after that they still have not replyed. can anyone give me advice on the best way to approach them- do they respond better if you get nasty or if you kiss their butts???
    thank you

Getting nasty worked for me. I told them they were rude and unhelpful as they did not have the common courtesy to even reply to my emails. Eventually got my points creditted. Took a bit of wrangling though.

  • I had the same problem, tried to send the invite emails as attachments, but my emails to their standard support address just got bounced. In the end the customer support guy who was dealing with my claim gave me his personal email address and once I sent the invites there I got my points the next day. I don't still have the email address unfortunately, but if you send a message via the site to say your emails don't seem to be getting through, they should give you an email address that actually accepts incoming mail.

Regarding the HMV vouchers, I've just sent a message asking about some I ordered 4 weeks ago. Doesn't seem any better than the Amazon response time IMO.

[edit] Oh, and I did get 3 tubes of sensitive toothpaste to product test a while back. They weren't in the list of tests so I assume I got them as a result a quick vote where I said I had sensitive teeth. Came in very handy as they arrived just as I was about to run out.:D
  • thanks for your advice guys-will let you know when i get my points so you might not hear from me before 2008!!!:rotfl:
  • i ordered my HMV vouchers ages ago was going to use them to buy xmas presents well thats gone out the window cant see me getting them before xmas now

  • Got a reply about the HMV vouchers today:
Thank you for your email. Usually you should receive the voucher within four weeks. In this case however our order to HMV has been delayed which is why we haven’t been able to send out the vouchers yet. You should however receive the voucher in a week or two. I’m sorry for the delay.

    So hopefully before Christmas.

If I follow the link in the email, does it automatically register as me? Because it doesnt seem to ask me to sign in anywhere, and when I go to the website after completion I am not logged in?
