How rude! Have you ever thought of saying "please" rather than issuing orders?
You're lucky indeed that MSE has posters of the calibre of siren who is prepared to respond to a request, sorry, a demand, like that.
One final thought - you might actually learn a little more about saving money if you were prepared to trawl through threads like the rest of us.0 -

Me, too. The emphasis here is on mutual help and cooperation, both of which require courtesy.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930

Does anyone know if you can use more than 1 x £10 voucher a time at HMV. i.e spent £30 and use 3 x £10 vouchers.
I checked this out when the HMV vouchers first appeared, this section of HMV.co.uk's FAQ suggests you can:Once you have created an account or if you are an existing customer you can check "my e-wallet" from the "My HMV" page and your E-Gift Certificate will be shown in your e-Wallet and ready for use. Shop away and when you go to "checkout" there is a field where you can enter the amount you would like to pay by E-Gift voucher. You can pay for your goods with a combination of your E-Gift Vouchers and/or payment card.
That would suggest you can combine vouchers. Although I'd feel safer if I knew someone had actually tried it.0 -
Murgatroyd wrote:I emailed Amazon about a month ago and they told me that you can only use one voucher per order...?Edna_Bucket wrote:Are you talking (or were you talking to Amazon) about discount vouchers rather than gift vouchers??
With gift vouchers you can surely use whatever you've got - I certainly bought a £100 i-deck from them only a month or so ago using entirely a bunch of gift vouchers from these and other sources to pay for it all. Worked fine!
I asked about gift vouchers, so it looks like they told me a fib :mad:0 -
Dunno what phone number people are using to contact Amazon, but there's a freephone which is a cheaper alternative to the London number they provide if you look them up on Yell. Here it is:
0800 2796620
I bought 2 James Bond DVDs for my OH yesterday and used a combination of an Amazon voucher from T&V (probably one of the last ones they gave out before they stopped them) and another voucher I got from QNA. I added them to my gift certificate balance in the usual way and then selected the option to 'apply gift certificate balance' at checkout. So I would say yes- you can use more than one per order.0 -
Has anyone received HMV vouchers that can let me know how long they take to arrive (and are they emailed?)
I have asked for £10 and I see they have a 20% off weekend, which would have been a good time to use it, but its not arrived yet...
Thanks in advance0 -
It's been 3 weeks since I ordered my HMV voucher and there's no sign of it yet0

Noticed they're dropped Amazon and give a £10 HMV voucher for 40,000, which to me seems a lot. I've just noticed it says you can change them to Ipoints, anyone know how many T&V credits make an Ipoint as it were?2p off is still 2p off!0

Read back through the thread. It's all there. Sorry, I'm rushed or I'd give you the post number ...Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930
