Test & Vote (merged)

I got chosen to test something once - chocolate and peppermint tea. They sent the grand total of ONE TEABAG and as I didn't fancy it much I left it in a drawer waiting for the survey to appear. It never did, so the teabag went unused for about 5 months until I was having a clearout one day and decided to throw it out.
So no points there either...........:mad:0 -

Why don't I get points for product tests ?
Product tests are organised by Test&Vote. We think it is nice that you can keep the product after testing and now our products are getting more exciting (recently we had Ipods, TVs). So we are sure you won't miss the 75 points...
Looks like it's not a mistake that people aren't getting the 75 points anymore.
Well spotted rob1241. Another change of t&c without any prominent announcement.0 -

Sorry, I know it's dreadful of them, but that did make me laugh! T&V make me laugh too - I think they're the most ramshackle of a (mostly bad) industry. I love how you have to try and interpret the surveys - sometimes it seems they just shove them in a universal translator.0 -
Ages ago I answered a survey and they were supposed to send a fajita or wrap dinner kit. I never did receive it. Did anyone else?

I got the wrap kit, which was quite nice. However I am still waiting for the 4300 points that I was supposed to get for trying it and filling in the survey.
Bah. So far I have never had any points for filling in a survey for them. It says to wait for so many weeks before they should appear. Just long enough for you to forget how many you were supposed to get!!!People die, buildings burn, but true love is for ever.

Yet another Tedious & Vapid "slip of the pen" by using plurals I think - last year they only had two separate test of different ipods and gave precisely one out each time!
You can see the tester in each case on these links:

Where are the "TVs" then? The previous test list goes back to 2004 and there is no sign of them.0 -

I always keep the original e-mail invitation until they eventually credit the points. I usually wait a couple of months before chasing - by this time they have normally credited points for about 40% of surveys. Of the remainder, I reckon they credit points after the first chasing about half of the time, and the other half after a second chasing another month or so later.
Now they have removed the option of Amazon vouchers, I'm seriously considering giving up with them. I'm not interested in Pixmania vouchers, and generally anything that is available from HMV is available at least 10% cheaper from other online suppliers, thus devaluing the reward. I'll see what comes of the iPoints offer before I make a final decision. I have had £40 of Amazon vouchers from them since I joined in March, which has been a nice bonus.
The number of survey invitations seems to have fallen recently too.0 -

...........I also found the email for the France based "Panel Director":
Laurent Sabouret
Panel Director
Laurent.sabouret@toluna.com
If that's the general company email format, then I would guess:
Mark.simon@toluna.com
and:
Lee.Powney@toluna.com
for the other two. Might be worth copying them all in on a complaint message so they all know what's really happening out there!
Have had email contact from another one called David Sjölin. Reckon his 'real' email might be:
David.Sjölin@toluna.com
Here's what he said anyway. Just confirms what we already knew really:
Thank you for your email. The product test is something that we at Test&Vote do ourselves. Lately we have offered product tests for more desireable products, and the choosen testers will always get to keep the product they test. Therefore we have decided to remove the points awarded for registering for the test since we feel that the chance of getting the product is a reward in itself.
Best regards,
David Sjölin

I won a phone over a month ago, and it hasn't arrived.
I received an email acknowledging the problem, but since then nothing.
Who should I contact?
Thanks0 -
New quick vote: "current profession?"
[edit] Also, Ipoints seem to have disappeared from the rewards.0
