I had the same call - this scanner is only whilst you are out & about and its for snacks you buy not your full shopping, I did check this when they ran as I already do the neilson one so didnt want to duplicate.

They said you would get more details when the scanner arrives they were just ringing to comfirm you still wanted to do it, so they could send it out to you. This was a stipulation of the test & vote survey - so if you decline the scanner I dont think youll get the points.

I believe its to put on your keyring and carry with you whilst you are out & about - you then download the information on it once a week via your computer.

Well IMHO the ShopandScan one which I do seems a lot easier and more practical than the sound of this scanning snacks while you are out lark

good to see a test and vote thread again on these boards. I started one saying how poor I thought they were and it was removed without any explanation after getting quite a lot of agreements from others.

My big gripe with them is that they are merrily building up a very detailed profile of you for the reward of virtually nothing. They probably know more about you than your best friend does after you've answered all the quick votes, profiles etc and that can be a bit worrying.

Why do you keep being so dramatic?? You keep using words like "attack" and "venom" - when all we're doing is having a bit of light-hearted fun about an over-dramatic post or two of yours, which deserved a riposte.

As I've said before, for goodness sake, lighten up and stop over-reacting - it's only a Bulletin Board dear.

Still awaiting my £10 Amazon voucher after well over six weeks, but after contacting them, I did receive this email this morning:
